Celebrating 10 years of expert HR support from Keeping HR Simple

Lamberts have always had clear values of providing the best products and services to our client base, and this ethos also extends to providing the best for our staff. As a business, the need for excellence in Human Resources is vital for happy, supported staff and for the smooth and professional running of our company. When it comes to making sure we have sufficient resources to facilitate the business needs, at Lamberts we’re not afraid to invest in what is important. Staff welfare and professionalism are paramount to us, so in 2013, when the business continued to evolve and staff numbers grew, we wanted to ensure we had the best possible HR support in place. So, we called in the experts!

Katherine Duff, Director of Keeping HR Simple and Trina Beare, MD of Lamberts have been working together for the past 10 years.

For the past decade, Lamberts have worked with HR consultants Keeping HR Simple. When Lamberts MD Trina Beare met Keeping HR Simple’s Director Katherine Duff at a local business networking event they instantly hit it off, having lots of shared values around how best to look after and support a team. Trina said, “I felt like Katherine was one of us – she just got me. We clicked straight away. She is a down to earth person who was just as keen as I was to do the right thing for our team”.


Katherine and the team at Keeping HR Simple have supported Lamberts throughout the ups and downs of running a business over the years. When the working relationship began, KHRS first updated Lamberts’ contracts of employment for our staff, whilst remaining on hand to answer any questions our staff had to ensure they felt consulted and understood. Since that time the team at Keeping HR Simple have been on hand for all sorts of HR matters including providing all of Lamberts’ HR policies and procedures, supporting sickness absence, recruitment and more. KHRS also hold regular webinars and masterclasses for its client base, which give Lamberts the opportunity to develop our management skills and knowledge even further.

The team at Lamberts know that dedicated HR support from Katherine and her team is only a phone call away.

This mutual trust, respect and sharing of business values is what has made our business partnership so successful over the years. There is always someone from Keeping HR Simple on had to support Lamberts and ensure we’re doing the right thing to look after our team. In turn our staff know that they can call Katherine directly if they have a query, she is simply one of the team!


Katherine says of the business relationship, “I love working with the team at Lamberts. The Directors have created such a great team of people and it’s all down to their strong sense of family values. I recently met with every member of the team individually to have a chat with them about how they’re doing. First of all, any business that encourages their team to talk to their HR person is a great business anyway, but I think one of the team members summed it up by saying “best place I’ve ever worked”.”
