Fundraising leaps and Bounds for Big C

For our Charity of the Year 2024, we’ve chosen to partner with local cancer charity, Big C. Our fundraising has a “spring” in its step, and we wanted to update you on the progress we’ve made and share how you can get involved.

To learn more about the process that led to us choosing Big C as our charity of the year involving the entire business, you can click here.

Easter Bunnies

As the first leap in our fundraising efforts, we’ve put our spring bonnets on and got creative. A team effort has produced a wonderful collection of hand-made wooden rabbits. The wooden bases were lovingly crafted by Managing Director Trina Beare, and the workwear team came together to dress, accessorise, and finish the rabbits off.

These sculptures are a great addition to your garden or any easter festivities. Ranging from the largest “Captain Carrot” to wee “Bonnie Bunny”, there is a rabbit for every occasion.

We hosted an auction for these beauties, and they were able to raise £270. If you missed your chance, keep your eyes peeled for our next wooden-creation announcement.

Blooming Lovely

Building on the success of the hand-crafted bee bombs that Trina made for our previous charity of the year, she has created a limited edition containing “ladybird” poppy seeds. The red-spotted beauties make adorable gifts and are the perfect spring flower to brighten up any garden.

The pocket-sized flower power packages are available from Lamberts HQ, at the sales counter. If you are unable to get to the site, please get in touch with our team and we’ll see what we can do to get them to you!

Kicking Success

We’ve put forward a team for the Big C charity 5-a-side tournament in July. The team are getting prepped for the tournament, with practice scheduled so they can perform their best! Meanwhile, the workwear team are hard at work behind the scenes to make sure the team are kitted out to show their best colours and the Lamberts branding.
