Pipeline Products

Continuing our deep dive into our product offerings, this week we’re taking a look at weld fittings, flanges and pipe. Lamberts is East Anglia’s leading independent distributor of pipeline and heating solutions.

Check out the video below to hear from Commercial Manager Paul Gardiner as he explains weld fittings finishes, fittings and uses. Watch to the end to learn about our pipeline solutions from Managing Director, Trina Beare.

Why Weld Fittings?

A welding fitting connects pipes and other components to ensure a robust and leak-proof system. Due to their permanent welded bond and superior strength, they are widely used across industries such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, automotive, and water treatment plants.

We keep fittings in stock that range from half an inch up to 12 inches, as well as the corresponding flanges, gaskets, and pipe. Anything outside of this range, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

What is a flange used for?

Flanges are commonly used to connect valves into pipework making it easier for removal and maintenance or to put a stop in the flow of the pipework. There are many common flange standards and flanges within the same standard can either be flat (commonly cast iron, ductile iron) or raised face (commonly cast steel and stainless steel).
