Following on from our 3kW solar installation by Impact Services before Christmas, the team from Impact has been back this side of the festive season to install another new addition to our sustainability journey. Our second electric vehicle (EV) charging point.
Going Greener
We’ve had an electric vehicle charging point at our Whiffler Road site since (YEAR) and we’re proud to announce that this year we’ve added a second charging point, doubling our charging capabilities.
We have four commercial vehicles in our fleet that are plug-in hybrids or PHEVs. Meaning that more of our team can now utilise the energy we generate from the solar panels on our roof to get from A to B.
With a second charging point, our team don’t have to plan vehicle charging opportunities, and we can maximise our efficiency with how we use our electricity.
A Fully Electric Future
We recognise the importance of reducing our carbon footprint and embracing cleaner modes of transportation. A fully electric fleet is part of our goals for a sustainable future. Although not achievable at the moment, initiatives like the second charging point help us head in the right direction.
